‘Sweetness’ Daffodils
In November of 2017 the ADS Board of Directors approved a new class called the ‘Brooke Ager Challenge Class’ for youth exhibitors to enter an annual challenge cultivar. The ADS Youth Committee will select a cultivar each year and supply it to ADS youth members but the class is not limited to ADS members. The class will be included in the National Show schedule and encouraged for local shows.
Shows may include a class for all youth to enter a bloom from the current year’s bulb selection. The following list includes selected cultivars from current to past years that competed for the Brooke Ager Challenge Ribbon:

- 2023 – ‘Fragrant Rose’, 2 W-GPP
- 2022 – ‘Marieke’, 1 Y-GYY
- 2021 – ‘Golden Echo’, 7 WWY-Y
- 2020 – ‘Rapture’, 6 Y-Y
- 2019 – ‘Bravoure’, 1 W-Y
- 2018 – ‘Pink Charm’, 2 W-WWP
