ADS Medal Recipients

The American Daffodil Society has a tradition of honoring individuals who have contributed to the betterment of daffodils and the American Daffodil Society. To this end, the American Daffodil Society has three medals, a gold medal, a silver medal, and the president’s medal.

ADS Gold Medal The American Daffodil Society Gold Medal for Meritorious Service may be awarded once each year and in the words of the ADS By-laws: “The Gold Medal of the American Daffodil Society shall be awarded to an individual deemed by the Honors Committee as being worthy of “recognition of creative work of a pre-eminent nature in the understanding and advancement of daffodils.”   Nominees need not be citizens nor residents of the United States.  The Gold Medal honorees are listed on our ADS Gold Medal Recipients page.

ADS Silver MedalThe American Daffodil Society Silver Medal may be awarded each year and  in the words of the ADS By-laws:  The Silver Medal of the American Daffodil Society shall be awarded to an individual deemed by the Honors Committee as being worthy of “recognition of outstanding service to the American Daffodil Society.”  The Silver Medal honorees are listed by year on our ADS Silver Medal Recipients page.

If you know an individual who has made significant contributions to the daffodil world or to the American Daffodil Society that deserves recognition, send your recommendation with a brief explanation to the President of the American Daffodil Society ( title=).
