We encourage all Daffodil Show chairmen to invite Daffodil Student Judges to judge in your shows. This will give them valuable experience and further their training as they work to become accredited judges. Rebecca Koesters has the current list of ALL judges, and will send it upon request. The 2024 Judges Refreshers are listed below:

• 2024 ADS National Convention in Herndon, Virginia, Saturday, April 13 at 8:00 am (Eastern Time)
  “Easing Confusion During Voting for Final Awards” will be presented by Anne Donnell Smith and Julie Minch, two well-seasoned and wise instructors, of the Maryland Daffodil Society. They will cover ahead-of-time preparations, clerking activities during actual judging, and final voting organization. Judges requesting credit please register and pay $5 fee.

The 2024 Judges Schools are listed below:

• Judging School I, Saturday, March 2, 2024 – Memphis, Tennessee
  Held in the Auditorium of the main building at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens, 4339 Park Ave, Memphis, TN. For information please contact Christina (Chris) Clapsadle at email or call (901) 634-5417.

  Blooms should be available for students to view/study on Friday afternoon, March 1, from 2 to 4:45 p.m. We will also email photos of the ID test daffodils to students on Friday afternoon, March 1, as soon as we have the ID test set up. That way they can study them that Friday night.

• Judging School III, Saturday, March 16, 2024 – Dallas, Texas

• Judging School III, Wednesday, April 10, 2024 – Herndon, Virginia
  Held at the Hyatt Regency Dulles Hotel (Herndon, Virginia) at the ADS National Convention. The school will begin at 8:15 am. The flower identification room (Brockridge) will be open on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 by 5:00pm. Audits and refreshers are also welcome to attend the school.
